A new born for Rhum BOLOGNE! DARK SAIL, an aged rum inspired by the epic of the buccaneers. For the packaging creation, LINEA explored the origin of the brand and more specifically the story of Jean-Antoine Amé-Noël, an emblematic figure of Basse-Terre in Guadeloupe. The legend says he discovered a treasure that allowed him to purchase the Bologne Property in 1830… The label is dark with a retro style and shows an image taken from the privateers. The galleon in the centre of the label makes perfect sense. The solution-dyed label shows a deep black. Letterings and illustrations come to life with a screen ink giving substance and relief to the label. In a word… BOLOGNE is ready for the battle. We’ve warned you…
