Designing a top of the range Johnnie Walker whisky to exceed expectations, was the mandate set for Linea brand design by DIAGEO. Faithful to the distinctive brand attributes of Johnnie Walker, Linea created a decanter with straight lines, character, masculinity and pedigree. The reference to the famously slanted label is even found suggestively etched into the glass. The generously thick foot of the decanter fits neatly into a display base. This enhances the craftsmanlike qualities above ; including thick cosmetic quality glass, intricate gold silk screen print and a gold plated metal stopper worthy of a goldsmith. Launched in Asia and then gradually released on the international markets, King George V has set a new level at the very top of the range whiskies.
