BARDINET asked LINEA – the Packaging Design Agency from the Spirits Valley – to revamp the SIR EDWARD’S SMOKY quality. With a beautiful simplicity, the labelling reflects the Scottish origins of this blended whisky, while placing it in the growing class of peated whiskies. All the bottle components are designed to reveal the peated notes (you must understand Smoky) of this premium blended Scotch whisky. The dark blue colour makes you think of the peatlands shrouded in mist whereas a gouache illustration highlights the fabulous Scottish landscapes within a dense, mysterious and even threatening environment.
