In its search for new ways to appreciate cognac, the Maison LARSEN imagines COOPER’S SELECTION: a tribute to the art of cooperage. Thanks to the Finnish group ALTIA (owner of the House) for challenging our designers on this burning subject, to say the least! On the taste side, the aromatic profile of this VSOP cognac is quite original thanks to the strong toasting of the barrels. Unheard of in the Cognac region! On the packaging side, the edition opts for an innovative image. Far from the traditional attributes of the category, the bottle displays a very dark universe with its all-encompassing glossy black coating. Impossible not to make the link with the carbonization of the barrels, the master key to the maturation of this cognac! Copper, used sparingly, enhances the edition (while being a clever nod to the Charentais still). As for the textured paper label, it gives the final touch to the creation! It is the ‘craft’ guarantee par excellence. Nothing could be more normal for a cognac whose entire identity is built around a craft: cooperage.
